Jewelry that Makes a Statement! The Totally Original Frilled Lizard Pretty easy to make, can be done by folks who know the basics in about 2 hours, and easily learned by newbies, this pin can be as big or small as you'd like. We have it at about 4 1/2", enjoying the way the tail does its geometric thing. As you provide the colored wire, you can make it traditional green, interesting red, unusual teal or even purple, and we'll send you your choice of head beads. We've got red, teal, green, brown, yellow and some others by request. The oval tool creates that wonderful "frill" and your standard Twist 'n' Curl tool (you do need the standard tool as well) gives you the rest of the body. We've mixed plain copper wire with the fancy coated and gotten great results, so its really an anything goes sort fo kit! We're also making "refill heads" available, and on request, will package this kit for group projects. This kit is designed by Myra Anson Nicholas in memory of the many chameleons, gekkos, newts and various lizards she enjoyed (as a child) and the fond memories she had of her mother washing dishes with one of them always on her shoulder basking in the warmth of the kitchen. Available with Donna Nova's wonderful lampworked glass "lizard head" bead (pictured here) or polymer clay head.
