HANGTAGS AND ITEM CARDS
If you're putting your handcrafted items out for sale at shops and boutique shows you'll have realized that since you are not there to explain the process, or give a good sales pitch, your piece, however wonderful, might not sell as well as you think it should. You also know from your own shopping experiences that presentation is a very large part of sales. And you need not spend a lot of money on fancy boxes and slick stands. If you're starting out and need some merchandising help, we can offer you the following:

With over 22 years of experience in graphic design and packaging, Myra Anson Nicholas (that's me) can work with you to develop a "line" of tags for any type of jewelry that can be reproduced on a budget and customized to be distinctly yours, with sales copy and design that will get attention, while still allowing your item the space it needs.

A basic tag on a budget design can be supplied to you in pdf format so that you can print it out on your laser/inkjet printer and cut it down or take it to your local copy shop (easy indicators show you where to cut). Our basic "budget package" for a business-card size tag includes:

Creating a theme that "sells" your item
Using theme, write text that "explains" the item line
Using unique typefaces & interesting graphics, design the card
Set up card with indicators, if appropriate, for holes to be punched for pins or earrings to go through
Set up card so that you can print out 12 on a sheet of heavy paper
Send you a file you can use over and over at any copy shop or printer
...and we do it for 4 items of similar nature and theme. (i.e. pin, necklace and earrings made with same materials, the same way.)

Priced between $75 and $150 depending on the item line variety. If this is what you need, here's where you start.
